This month we unplugged and talked with our Insights Analysis (the brain behind the reports): say hi to Jenny Duong!
1. First things first, tell us a bit about what you do at WRW?
As the Insights Analyst I evaluate much of WRW’s data and compile our client-facing reports. I provide patrons with actionable insights so they can make more intelligent media buys.
2. What is your favourite part about working here?
The people. WRW has an awesome company culture generated by awesome people. The best places to work are filled with many smart and talented people. With great people around, you are inspired to be more creative, to constantly be challenged and motivated to be the best version of yourself.
3. When you’re not in the office, what are some of your favourite things to do?
I love to go bar-hopping, eat yummy foods (bbq ribs and chicken, mmm…) and just have a good time with close friends and family. Toronto being such a diverse city means that tasting all the cuisines of the world can be done right here at home. I also really enjoy running my personal fashion blog geared towards the multifaceted modern woman: ohsoladylike.ca
4. Name a couple of things that top your bucket list?
a) Visit 2 countries on each continent at least once.
b) Live abroad for a whole year.
c) Publish a meaningful, top selling memoir
5. Name three things you can’t live without
c) My shoe collection, John, my partner
6. What’s your best advice for those looking to pursue a successful career in Insights & Analysis?
a) Good grammar and a well-constructed argument keeps you credible.
b) Be creative and think outside of the box to solve any problem thrown your way.
c) Always rise to the challenge – don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.
7. If you weren’t an Insights Analyst, you would be a full-time:
Cake taster, or more realistically, a teacher.
